Dr. Peter Chase is the past director of the University of the Pacific Orofacial Disorders Center; a multidisciplinary clinic focused on the evaluation and treatment of obstructive sleep disorders (OSD/OSA) and Temporomandibular disorders (TMD/TMJ).
Dr. Chase has authored multiple scientific articles and contributed to several textbooks. He has lectured widely and has acquired a Master’s Degree in Dental Education. He is on the credentialing board for the American Sleep and Breathing Academy and on the faculty of the Contra Costa Sleep Center.
Dr. Chase opened his practice in Walnut Creek 7 years ago with care limited to oral appliance therapy for OSA and TMD/TMJ conditions.
Dr. Chase has published two books: The Integrated Medical Dental System and Sleep Medicine and Oral Appliance Therapy. He also serves as a consultant to insurance companies, legal entities and government organizations.
Dr. Douglas Chenin is a graduate of the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and is an international authority on Dental Sleep Medicine and 3D craniofacial imaging. He maintains a satellite practice in San Francisco with services limited to oral appliance therapy for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and care for temporomandibular disorders (TMD/TMJ).
Dr. Chenin is the past Director of Clinical Affairs at Anatomage. Inc., the world’s most advanced 3D dental imaging technology company. He was instrumental in the development of 3D imaging technology for airway, temporomandibular joint, and craniofacial analysis.
Dr. Chenin is now associating with the practice of Dr. Peter Chase in Walnut Creek and plans on devoting more time to the Walnut Creek office.
Dr. Chenin teaches regularly at professional conferences and continuing education courses, has collaborated on numerous research projects, and has authored and coauthored an extensive list of professional publications.
